The Veranda

Cushioned, on the one side, by a rock wall, and lit, on the other side, by vast bay windows, this is the veranda, where, sheltered, you enjoy the garden. On one side, the thick wall of the ancient building, on the other, the thin face of glass; and at the heart of these contrasting elements yet in perfect harmony with the site, your own quietude.

Underneath, by the generous wood of the floor below and, above you, like by a sheet of tight fabric, you feel enclosed, protected, perhaps savouring a local wine. At least may the spirit of Clos de Maussanne invite you to a moment of meditation.
